This time it's just the title of a news article thankfully!

The Boston Herald today reports that "IBM software offer workplace networking":

IBM is hoping to transform social networking from playtime phenomenon to workplace habit.

   Big Blue today releases a suite of software - primarily developed in the Bay State - called Lotus Connections and Lotus Quickr.

The article goes on to quote Ken Bisconti:

IBM's Lotus Connections lets businesses create profiles for each of their employees, with job titles, professional backgrounds - even where those workers fit in the company's hierarchal pecking order. The idea is to make finding people within the company much easier, said Ken Bisconti, vice president of product management for Lotus Software and the IBM Software Group.

"We are allowing people to access the collective knowledge of the entire company," he said.

Good press, shame about the title!
