Lotus Connections "redwiki" residency announced

I really do wish that IBM had published a schedule of these residencies so we knew that they were in plan, however that doesn't mean that I'm not really pleased that this one is taking place!  Thanks to Paul Smith for passing this on:
Residency Announcement:  LO-C804-R01 Lotus Connections: How to Customize and Extend It

Benefits to Resident:
Do you have experience with customizing and extending Lotus Connections or other social networking software?  Do you have tips and techniques that you want to share for integrating other applications with Connections? Would you like to contribute your knowledge to a new wiki deliverable project?  Or would you like to learn about these skills? If so, we want you to join our virtual team.  As a participant in this remote residency, you will gain proficiency with developing a best practices guide for developing Lotus Connections applications.

Lotus and the IBM ITSO are conducting this remote residency to create a new deliverable that uses wiki technology.  Wikis are a Web browser-based technology that allows remote collaboration to create a new form of online document.  You can be a part of this new way to deliver quality technical documentation.  Getting involved in this project will give you an opportunity to learn new collaboration tools and techniques, to learn more about customizing and extending Connections, and to pass on your knowledge to other IBM and Lotus employees, business partners, and customers.  As you exchange knowledge with other highly skilled residents and work with some of the top experts in the Lotus community, you will develop a competitive edge for this product that will serve you well in deploying and extending Connections and integrating it with other applications.  In addition, you will get recognition for being an author of this wiki.

This residency begins 28 Jul 2008, ends 12 Sep 2008 (6 weeks), and requires 8 residents. The residency is a Remote residency - no travel is required.

Nominations should be submitted online on the Web by 18 Jul 2008.

The residency leader is Mike Ebbers whose email address is
mikeebb@us.ibm.com.

Note:  ITSO pays authorized travel and living expenses for all residents, but does not compensate for the time or services of its residents.  For IBMers, ITSO residency travel is pre-approved.
More details below the fold.
